Nordic Permits

Cross Country Skiing - Park N' Ski Permits

Park N' Ski permits are required at designated winter parking areas across the state. You must display your $25 Park N' Ski annual decal on the front driver's side of your vehicle window, or your $7.50 three day hang tag on your interior rear view mirror to avoid citations and fines. Annual permits are valid November 15 to April 15.

When purchasing a permit, you are asked to designate a specific Park N' Ski area where you would like the funds you pay to be spent. Park N' Ski funds are used for trail clearing and marking, grooming, plowing of parking lots, restrooms and other Nordic ski facilities. All money collected, minus a $1 vendor fee and 15 percent for administration, is required by law to be used to improve cross country ski opportunities in Idaho.

Please note: Ponderosa and Harriman State Parks are no longer apart of the Park N' Ski program. These parks provide Premium Nordic experiences and are subject to Premium Nordic Ski Grooming Fees.
