Group Facilities
There are many opportunities for small or large groups to use the facilities of the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation. Scout groups, family reunions, company picnics, Samborees—they all come under the heading of group use.
Groups of 25 or more, or any group needing special considerations, will need a permit. Permits are required to assure that, if needed, arrangements have been made for sanitation, park population density limitations, safety and regulation of traffic.
The minimum nonrefundable reservation fee is $25. Additional fees may be charged depending on the cost of services provided.
Most parks can accommodate group activities of 25 to 100 people. The following parks have special accommodations for groups. Common fees are listed. Call the park to inquire about your group’s needs.
