Back Country Yurts
We have five back-country yurts on the Idaho City Area trail system, about an hour outside of Boise. They are similar to the park yurts, but they include cooking facilities and utensils. You’ll need to hike a mile or two, but once you get there, what solitude! Experience beautiful, mile-high mountain views with no neighbors, endless cross-country ski trails in the winter and hiking and mountain bike trails in the summer.

Back country yurts sleep six and rent for $75 per night, weekdays. Weekend rate is $90 per night. For the first six people. If you have more friends who want to throw a sleeping bag on the floor, they can stay for an additional $10 per night each on weekdays and $12 per night weekends, up to a maximum of nine in each yurt.
